Hey, I'm Jonathan — a self-taught product designer and co-founder of Phloe, where I'm on a mission to educate millions.

For the last few years I've designed for learners: an award-winning study widget and onboarding at Quizlet, a campus-events app I took 0 → 1 at USC, and product UI at a YC-backed startup. I'm at my best in the early, messy part — generating a dozen iterations, hunting down feedback, and sweating the parts of a flow everyone else skips.

I came to design through psychology, so I care less about the pixels and more about the why: what actually gets someone to show up, stick with it, and learn.
